Bios
Dan: The main
character. Dan is the one who narrates. (And no, those
aren't big pupil-less eyes. He's
wearing glasses.) He's the man with the plan... quick to
find his way out of any mess. Nothing seems to rattle Dan
for long. To date, he's stopped a rampaging mutant,
rescued a stranded alien and invented a time machine to
get out of detention. Dan is also the honorary Ambassador
of Earth. Currently he's working to bring down his evil
principal's regime.
Todd: Dan's cynical best friend. Todd is always
dragged into trouble. He was once eaten by a mutated
classmate, and dragged into the past. He seems to be
getting fed-up with his role as sidekick.
Jeremy: The mad scientist of the group, who until
recently was shunned by the others. He's the creator of
the Teleform Device, an invention designed to change the
genetic structure of people and objects. It was a mishap
with this device that created Willzilla, the one-time
scorge of Dan's World. He redesigned Dan's time machine
and perfected it. Although quiet, Jeremy has proven many
times to care deeply for his friends, even at his own
expense.
Mandy: Sweet, helpful, and easily embarassed. Mandy
loves animals. (Especially Boffy.) Shy and a little
introverted, Mandy keeps to herself a lot. She started a
shaky friendship with Summer, but doesn't seem to know
how to interact well with others.
Dana: He's a messy conglomerate of nueroses and random
paranoia. The most traumatic event of his life was ten
years ago, when his cat was hit by a car. The second most
traumatic event involved being consumed by a mutant. New
traumas are being created daily. He's currently seeing a
therapist. We'll see if that helps.
Jamie: The punk of the area. Jamie hates Dan with a
passion. Eh, actually he hates everybody. Not much is
known about Jamie yet, but it has been revealed that he
has a top-secret plan to eliminate Dan. (He also seems to
have some sort of grudge against Dana.)
Will: Slow-witted and quiet. He was skinny until hit
by the beam of the Teleform Device, at which point he
inherited Jeremy's fat cells. Once mutated, the fat cells
seem to have stabilized. (Even though he's permenantly
evil now.) He works for Jamie.
Chad and
Wendy: Presumably, they're in love.
I think that's what the hearts mean.
Boffy: A talking dog that wandered into Dan's World and
decided to stay. His past is mysterious, but probably
just involved watching alot of television and drinking
out of the toilet. He likes to read and go places where
he doesn't belong. He lives in an abandoned shed on
school grounds with Visitor. His main enemies include Mr.
Parker, the librarian, and Ash, who seems to want Boffy
for his own twisted purposes. Since coming to the strip,
he's been smushed by a mutant, consistantly tormented by
Ash, given a bath, and turned into a giant by Jeremy's
Teleform Device.
Miss Smith: She's the English and Creative Writing teacher.
Worse than any of the other teachers in Dan's school.
Smith is an incarnation of Satan. Dan once dumped mutated
fat on her head... and she'll never forget it. She also
teaches German. (But not well.)
Mr. Spahn: The Dictator Principal of Central High.
Incredibly evil, and scheming. Not a good man to get
riled. He has an iron grip on the school and all the
students. Recently grew a creepy, strangely-familiar
mustache. Future Jeremy revealed that Spahn would
eventually rule the world.
Summer: Jamie's girlfriend, and unwitting henchperson.
It's not yet known where her true affiliation lies, but
she seems to like Dan, much to Jamie's fury. She's slowly
getting fed up with her boyfriend.
Joe: A Freshman kid who idolizes Dan. Always seen
with Toby. Joe is fun-loving, helpful and quick to size
people up. His goofy grin hides a sharp mind. He seems to
have become Dan's new sidekick. Joe is usually calm, but
when someone messes with his friends, he wants blood.
Toby: Joe's long-time friend and constant cohort.
Toby has an unquenchable sense of adventure, even despite
having his head ripped off. He's rash and quick to act.
His head was finally reconnected to his body, but with
thread that doesn't match. He never thinks his plans
through.
Ash: An obsessed fan-boy, currently living in the
world of Harry Potter. In his delusional state, Ash is
well-meaning, easily angered, determined and heroic. In
real life, he's a fruitcake. His overwhelming desire is
to capture Boffy. (For reasons that change with his
current delusion.) Ash switches realities and obsessions
regularly. Previously he was a Pokemon trainer, a Sim,
and a zombie killer.
Ray: Ray is completely and utterly insane. He's
perpetually confused, but exceedingly friendly. (And no,
he's not wearing glasses. Those are big, pupil-less
eyes.) He's friends with Visitor, because he enjoys being
abducted. Occasionally works as a Pokemon for Ash.
Visitor: A stranded alien who found his way into Dan's
World, and was maliciously baked into a casserole.
Visitor is an eternal optimist and has a flippant and
carefree attitude, despite being trillions of miles from
home. An on-going search is underway for his missing
spaceship. Only a few citizens know of his existance.
Boffy and Dan are his best friends. He thinks Dan is the
Ambassador of Earth.
Jennifer: Jennifer is a quiet girl, no one really knows
much about her. She inadvertantly ate Cory, was
accidently injured by him, then killed him with a
flyswatter.
Lisa: The new girl. She's very helpful, always willing
to lend a hand even though she never seems to understand
what's going on. Lisa sewed Toby's head back on. She's
also the one who got Ash into Harry Potter. She seems to
have developed a crush on Ash.
Jinny: Jinny
is Dan's next-door neighbor. She wandered into his life
one day and took him on a quest for rabbits. She hasn't
been seen since then, but you can sure she'll be back.
